Abstract

The financial sphere of Ukraine is in the stage of active development. There are new directions as the result of formation of its personnel potential.

The article presents different approaches of scientists to understanding of the concept of "personnel potential". The author's vision of the content of this concept is offered as a quantity characterizing the labor resources of certain people with their qualification, education, skills and abilities suitable for use on a particular enterprise, in a particular field, or in a country in general or specific conditions for a specific date, with the application of those or other hardware and organizational and managerial capabilities.

The dynamics of the number of employed in financial and insurance activity in Ukraine was analyzed. The size of the personnel potential of the financial sector of Ukraine has decreased by almost an a third during the last five years and this was established.

The main tendencies in the formation of personnel potential of the financial sphere of Ukraine that have emerged due to the deployment of informatization processes, the instability of economic conditions in the country, the intensification of the competitive struggle in different markets, the emergence of educational structures and virtual services for deepening of knowledge and regular training of such specialists are outlined. The first is the reduction in the number of staff in the financial sector. The second is the emergence and growth of the share of business analysts or financial analysts in the financial sector. The third is the growth of requirements for the level and quality of education of business analysts and specialists of other new professions. Fourth – different opportunities for using business analytics across regions.
