Abstract

Crisis conditions impose significant restrictions on realising the growth potential of Ukrainian tourism enterprises. A necessary condition for developing tourism enterprises at this stage is the consolidation of efforts to organise work in an unstable environment. Despite the existing limitations, owners and managers of tourism enterprises should not lose sight of the long-term prospects of European integration and the opportunities offered by harmonising international relations in this area.

Scientists widely studied the integration of Ukrainian tourist enterprises into the European space. At the same time, the crisis of economic management creates new challenges and requirements for the quality of strategic management of tourism enterprises.

The article aims to substantiate the organisational principles of integration of Ukrainian tourist enterprises into the European space in crisis conditions.

As the result of this study, we summarise the following organisational principles of integration of Ukrainian tourism enterprises into the European space during crisis conditions:

  1. During the crisis, enterprises ought to stop realising their growth potential to prevent and overcome current threats. However, in the strategic dimension, managers and marketers are obliged to consider the prospects of European integration and integration of the enterprise into the European space. Otherwise, the company may become uncompetitive soon.
  2. Preparations for enterprise integration into the European Economic Area should use an interdisciplinary approach and consider economic, political, legal, social and environmental factors.
  3. The main directions of strategic adaptation of the enterprise for integration into the European space are harmonising internal standards and principles of activity to the requirements of secondary EU legislation.
  4. Integration into the European space is desirable and valuable for tourism enterprises that share the principles of sustainable development and are willing to sacrifice temporary benefits to gain significant competitive advantages in the future.
