Abstract

The paper is devoted to solving the scientific and practical problems of the development of economic and managerial mechanisms for increasing the competitiveness of modern companies in the labor market. The urgency of the research is confirmed by the fact that, under the conditions of European integration processes of Ukraine, the mechanisms of improving the competitiveness of companies in the labor market are gaining increasing importance. At the same time, not only employees, but also employers need to be competitive on the labor market. Therefore, in conditions of severe competition, in order to increase profitability, enterprises are trying to attract the most effective resources. As is known, one of the resources that has a significant impact on the efficiency of enterprises is human resources. After all, the sum of individual skills, abilities, motivation, physical and mental health forms the labor potential of the organization. There is a need to develop economic and managerial mechanisms for increasing the competitiveness of the labor market. Such mechanisms are a set of applied styles and management methods that have a direct impact on employee loyalty to the company, and thus contribute to increasing its competitiveness in the labor market. The need to research the exact economic and managerial mechanisms for increasing competitiveness in the labor market is confirmed by its proximity to the concept of personnel motivation. The paper has improved the methodology of evaluation and measurement of the company`s competitiveness in the labor market and listed the factors influencing it. Consequently, as the result of this research, the author's methodology for calculating the company's competitiveness in the labor market was proposed by means of the coefficient of competitiveness of the companies in the labor market, which is determined by two parameters: the index of staff turnover and the index of labor satisfaction, as well as the normative value of this indicator has been proposed.
